EMMA'S BAPTISM
After Emma and her parents worked through the "Simplified Catechism" (on a web page), a baptism was arranged on New Year's Eve, 1999 at her Salter grandparent's home
in Ashland, Oregon. It was certain to be among the last baptisms before year 2000.
Art leads Emma in affirmation of the ancient traditional Christian confession of faith.
The parents, Mark and Sally Salter, re-affirm personal vows to one another, and promise to nurture Emma in her spiritual life.
(Art did their wedding, many years ago, in Whittier, California)
The extended family of parents, sister, Lauren, brothers, David, Andrew and Kendall, and grandparents, Ken and Marilyn Salter and Ted and Connie Hanson, pledge surrounding and supportive love for Emma.
