When we walk we talk
       Two and ½ miles worth
       Every day.

"Don't you run out 
       of things to talk about?"
       people say.

The thought never occurs
       We'd ever have a problem
       Running out of words.

In fact while I'm telling it
       Walking doesn't end it
       The talking I mean.

Designated talk times
       Though talking is not required
       But always occurs:
          - Mid morning tea
          - Afternoon tea
          - Pre-dinner happy hour
          - Dinner
          - After dinner sip of wine
          - Evening walk around the loop
          - Pre-bedtime ½ oz brandy time.

I have to say
       Though we go our own way
       We also talk during the day.

Even then when the day is out
       There is always something left
       We wanted to talk about.
