I DEDICATE this collection of
"moments" from Genesis, to my own
generator and father, Cecil Alven
Morgan.

An historian all his life, he
regretted the lack of thoughtful
commentary on Biblical subjects.

It dismayed him that preachers
avoided the critical and historical
questions.

He was always a "fan" of my
"moments," in part because my style
carries on his tendency to probe
and question.  Thought not always
serious, they take the Bible
seriously.

I think he would have enjoyed and
appreciated these, and added some
thoughts of his own.
